Motorcycle Custom Paint in British Columbia

When it comes to custom paint, a lot more is involved than just spraying a new colour on your bike. Find out more about our services below:

Seamless pattern with motorcycles

1. Preparation

The most critical part of any paint job is the prep work. We will:

  • Strip the Bike: All fairings, fenders, and the gas tank are removed.

  • Surface Preparation: Old paint is stripped, dents are filled, and scratches are sanded down to create a perfectly smooth surface for the new paint. This stage is essential for a high-quality, long-lasting finish.

2. Standard Paint Jobs

This is a straightforward service for a new, solid colour.

  • Single-Colour Respray: Your motorcycle's parts are painted a single, solid colour. This is a popular option for refreshing an older bike or simply changing its look.

3. Custom Paint Designs

This is where you can get creative with your bike's appearance.

  • Two-Tone/Multi-Colour Paint: Your bike is painted with two or more colours, often separated by a pinstripe or a clean line.

  • Metal Flake and Pearl: Special paints with metallic flakes or pearl additives are used to create a sparkling or shimmering effect that changes with the light.

  • Candy Coats: A transparent coloured layer is applied over a metallic base coat, giving the paint a deep, vibrant, and rich appearance.

4. Graphics and Detailing

These services add intricate designs and logos to the paint job.

  • Pinstriping: Thin, decorative lines are painted by hand or with stencils to accent the bike's shape.

  • Custom Graphics: This includes airbrushing elaborate designs, logos, or murals directly onto the bike's bodywork. This is a great way to personalize your ride.

  • Decals and Logos: Clear-coated decals or hand-painted logos can be applied for a professional, integrated look.

5. Clear Coat and Finishing

Once the paint and graphics are done, a clear coat is applied to protect the work.

  • Clear Coat Application: A protective layer is applied to shield the paint from UV rays, fuel spills, and scratches.

  • Wet Sanding and Buffing: This process smooths out any imperfections in the clear coat, creating a flawless, mirror-like finish.

6. Tank Cleaning and Lining

  • Internal Cleaning: The fuel tank is professionally cleaned to remove rust, debris, and old fuel residue that can affect performance.

  • Protective Lining: A specialized liner is applied to prevent future corrosion and ensure long-term durability of the fuel system.
